A New Outlook for Loch Lomond's Destination Organisation
Formed as a destination organisation for the Loch Lomond area in 2010, Love Loch Lomond is a membership organisation that brings together local businesses of all sizes with a shared economic interest in developing tourism in the region. Publicly funded at the time of its launch, in 2019 Love Loch Lomond was reborn as a commercial organisation run by a co-operative of partners.
With a new board appointed and a refreshed strategic vision and direction, the team at Love Loch Lomond identified the need to update the public presentation of their brand, including the launch of a new website with enhanced functionality, and a review of their core communications messaging.
We were delighted to support Love Loch Lomond by providing a bespoke Brand Development Toolkit and supporting stakeholder profiles. Based on research and insights into the characteristics, needs, interests and motivations of target stakeholder groups ranging from prospective members to first-time visitors to the region, the toolkit forms the basis for an updated brand identity that reflects the vision and vibrancy of the new co-operative. The insights and soundbites presented within the toolkit will help inform the development of Love Loch Lomond’s new website, visual and verbal brand, social media strategy and more.
