I’m a marketer, turned brand strategist, turned coach, and there are three things you need to know about me and my work:
I’m in love with the power of WORDS. I have two degrees in English Literature, and I truly believe those studies laid the foundation for everything I’ve built my business on. Because just like great literature, great brands are defined by their unforgettably relatable character(s) and their transformational impact on the lives they touch.
Running long distances in the mountains is my hobby – and my inspiration. I have a love-hate relationship with mountain running: unlike so much else in life, out there you can’t fake it. When you set out to run 50k or more in the mountains, nothing else matters: you’re locked into your own mental, emotional and physical rollercoaster – like life in miniature.
My business has NEVER been a side hustle: I’ve been the breadwinner in our household since the day I started Six Degrees East, with a baby and toddler to feed. So I know how it feels for you running your business, when the stakes are high, your time is tight and you NEED to take focused action to make impact and ££. I get it - & I’m here for you.
My BIG WHY is simple: I believe that your surest, most fulfilling and most sustainable path to authentic SUCCESS is to build a business that really feels like YOU – and MY business exists to help you do exactly that.
That’s why I’m a brand strategy COACH, not just a brand strategist – because I’ve learned from experience, that knowing what to do is never enough.
Strategy will point you in the right direction – but it won’t get you there. Not UNLESS you commit to take real, consistent action – and that’s where the coaching comes in.
I’m not interested in selling strategies that sit on shelves.
I’m interested in supporting committed, purpose-led people to build thriving, profitable businesses that make a real difference in their lives AND in their clients’ lives –
Because in my view, that’s what this business-owner adventure is all about.

Why Six Degrees East?
There’s a story behind my business name, and I’d love to share it with you – because it’s my daily reminder of what I believe, and WHY I do the work I do.
You see, I don’t believe in living for the holidays. We both know that running a business is hard work. It’s a life choice; it takes dedication and commitment.
If you’re going to pour that much of yourself into creating something, you want it to be a thing you truly LOVE, right? You want to make sure that you believe in the future you’re building, 1000%.
Now, rewind to 2016: at the beginning of my business owner journey, I was living and working near Glasgow, Scotland. That’s where I was when my Big Vision was born: I made a commitment that one day, I would move my business – and my family! – to live full time in the French Alps.
I wrote that vision into the DNA of the business I was building, by renaming it Six Degrees East: the easting co-ordinate of the French Alps, my destination.
In 2018, that goal became reality. Since then I’ve lived and worked full-time in the Alps, with Mont Blanc on my doorstep.
Now, every time I think of my business name, I smile – because it reminds me, this system WORKS.
